1. The Newsletter and Consent

 

We provide you with the following details so that you can understand the content of the ReloTalent newsletter, as well as the processes of registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation, along with your right of objection. By registering for the ReloTalent newsletter, you agree with the described processes and to the receipt of ReloTalent emails.

2. Content of the Newsletter

We only send emails with advertising material (the “newsletter”) with the consent of the recipients or legal permission. If any specific content of the newsletter is altered during the registration process, this content is essential for the consent of the users. Our emails contain information on how to improve your relocations (e.g. tips for increased employee and client satisfaction, ideas for how to become more efficient etc.). Furthermore, they might contain content intended to inspire and re-ignite your enthusiasm for working in global mobility. This content is designed to supplement the ReloTalent platform, and we will provide you with anything we may think will help you improve your current business offering. From time to time, we may also send you promotional content.

3. Opt-In and Logging

 

Registration for the ReloTalent newsletter is completed as part of a single opt-in process. This means that once you enter your email and tick the checkbox agreeing to these terms your registration will be confirmed.

 

Newsletter registrations are recorded so that we can verify the registration process under data protection and legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration, confirmation of this privacy policy, and the IP address. Any changes your data that are held by Wix are also recorded.

 

4. Use of the Email Service Provider “Wix”

 

The newsletter is dispatched by “Wix”, a cloud-based website development platform of the Israeli provider Wix.com Ltd., Namal 40, Tel Aviv, Israel.

 

The email addresses of those receiving our newsletter and the additional details described in this policy are stored on the Wix servers in Germany. Wix uses this information to send and assess the newsletters on our behalf. Wix can also use this data to enhance its own services, such as to improve the dispatch procedure and display of the newsletter, or to determine which countries the recipients are from. However, Wix will not use this data to contact the newsletter recipients itself or share it with third parties.

 

We trust the reliability and security of Wix. Wix is certified under the US-EU data privacy agreement “Privacy Shield“ and agrees to comply with all EU data privacy laws. You can review the Wix privacy policy here.

5. Login Details

 

Only your e-mail address is needed to register for the ReloTalent newsletter.

 

6. Survey and Analysis

 

Our e-mails contain a “web beacon” file that is retrieved from the Wix server when opened. This involves technical information being retrieved such as your browser and system details, your IP address and the time of retrieval. This data is then used to make improvements to service based on technical data, or change how groups are targeted, based upon their reading behaviour and location (determined with the IP address).

 

These surveys also determine if the newsletters are opened, what time they are opened, and what links are clicked on. This information may be logged for individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons, but it is neither our intention nor that of Wix to monitor individuals. These evaluations instead help us to understand the reading habits of our users better and to adapt the content to them more effectively, or to send different content based on our users’ interests.

7. Online Access and Data Management

 

There are instances where newsletter recipients may be led to the Wix web pages. Newsletter recipients may also amend data such as their email address.

 

Cookies are used on the Wix web pages for this purpose, and personal data is, therefore, processed by Wix, its partners and the service providers it uses. ReloTalent does not influence this data collection. You can find more information within the Wix privacy policy.

 

8. Cancellation of Newsletter

 

You may stop receiving our newsletter at any time by withdrawing your consent. This means you no longer consent to the use of your email to distribute this newsletter via Wix, and any resulting analysis. It is not possible to cancel the newsletter or the statistical evaluation separately.

 

If you do not wish to receive such messages, click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email and follow the instructions provided.

 

9. General Data Protection Regulation

 

Following the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), valid from 25th May 2018, agreeing to this privacy policy means that you have consented to your email addresses being collected based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, 7 of the GDPR.

 

The email service provider Wix is used, the registration procedure is recorded, and the surveys and analyses are performed based on our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. Our attention focuses on the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves our business interests and meets user expectations.

 

You can object to the future processing of your personal data at any time following the legal regulations detailed in Art. 21 of the GDPR.
